RCA DTC210 Issues

I recently bought an RCA DTC210 HD receiver and have some real issues with
it.

The program guide is slow and almost unreadable at a distance due to the
small size fonts and really crappy guide format..
The PCM sound outputs seem not to work at times, which may be source
related. I can't describe it but sound quality is lacking.

I bought this unit because of the RF remote feature that I use to pipe
signal to other sets in the house. I couldn't find another receiver with RF
remote! Guess DirecTV prefers a STB at every TV set!

Even the Samsung says rf remote is an option, but I've found that not to be
true.

I don't have an HD set yet, but plan to buy one next year, and gearing up
for it now.

By the way, I did notice a big improvement in over the air DTV broadcasts on
SD set.
