View Full Version : Need Phillips 312 image (3.0+ preferred)

So, it's dead. Hard drive on my upgraded Tivo overheated (after I replaced
my previously upgraded dual 120 5400rpm with 7200rpm).

Anyways, I am unable to extract a workable backup (with or without shows)
from my Phillips 312(01) recorder.

Does anyone have any pointers to where I can get 3.0 image of the Phillips
312? Or, would any one be interested in sending one my way?

General question as well: If I replace my Tivo with this new image, how
does my existing account work? Will the Tivo think that I am using a
different machine? Will my lifetime subscription cease to exist? Or will
the image recognize my machine as being my own, and just let me continue
using the service?

Thanks,

- in withdrawal

I don't have a sub., but I don't think it has anything to do with the HD.
