Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone knew if they were planning on supporting
the linksys wusb 2.8 wireless adapters anytime soon? I amazon-ed
myself one, not by choice, but by the fact I am not the one putting the
product in the fed-ex box.... wondering if I should wait it out, or run
out and *try* to find a 2.6 (since they're "old" they may not be around)

Personally I think that they should DROP support for the WUSB11 altogether.
Since ****sys can't decide on what the HELL they are doing with it, and
INSIST on using the same model number for 5 different products, it makes it
a near impossible task.
What the HELL is wrong with ****sys anyway ? does it cost them too much to
call somthing, say a WUSB 12 14 or whatever ?
Geez..

Is there a problem with the 2.8? I have one and it works perfectly.

It doesn't even show the MAC address on the network status/setup screen.
I'll assume it's a common thing, since TiVo mentions not to use it on their
"supported wireless adapters" page.

That's really odd. Are you using WEP?
